Director of the School of Environmental Sciences (SIL) Universitas Indonesia (UI) Tri Edhi Budhi Soesilo welcomed the achievement of one of the teachers at SIL UI, and stated the importance of scientific dedication in the form of research that is beneficial to science and published globally.
“The importance of disseminating research results in various world scientific journals will help the public read useful research results and can be used as an initial foundation for subsequent research,” said Budhi in his statement in Jakarta, Sunday.
Budhi also encouraged the entire sil UI academic community to continue to develop a healthy, ethical, and responsible academic ecosystem.
This achievement, he added, further strengthens SIL UI’s position as a leading research campus in Indonesia while increasing its reputation in the international arena.

Meanwhile, Herdis Herdiansyah stated that she was very happy with the results of the ranking conducted by Stanford University.
“The assessment is very rigorous because it uses citation metrics and scientific impact analysis that must be accounted for,” he said.
The research carried out, he continued, must also have significant relevance and impact in the international scientific community while contributing to knowledge.
According to him, the added value of the success of his scientific writing achievements at this time is that he is the only researcher of social humanities from the University of Indonesia who managed to get into the world rankings.
“This prestigious achievement is the first time in the field of social sciences so that this achievement can be used as an encouragement for other humanities researchers to continue to excel in providing the best research results and published in world-renowned journals,” he said.
