The condition of the rice field soil is damaged and dries up due to not running water for two months. The lack of water supply makes farmers can only resign themselves to waiting for rain.

One farmer said the impact of the long drought had left the land dry and cracked and rice in danger of dying. Farmers expect a solution from the government.

“It could be a crop failure because the soil has dried up like this. Dry like this because the rain is no longer falling,” said Supriyono as farmers.
